LEVEL 2 ROAD TEST

Teen drivers seeking a Level 2 Limited Provisional License can now take their road test with a certified driver education school.

The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles has trained and certified private driver education schools across North Carolina to administer driving skills/road tests for teens with a Level 1 Limited Learner Permit, providing a convenient alternative to testing at an office.

Teens who opt for a road test at a certified private driver education school will only need to visit an NCDMV office to complete the final transaction for their Level 2 Limited Provisional License, reducing time spent at the office with the road test already completed.

FK Chestnut Driving Academy offers no guarantee that a student will pass the road test. The road test contract is valid for ONE road test. Any additional road tests will require a separate payment and contract. Any unsuccessful test taker must wait a minimum of 48 hours before returning to our academy for a retest. This waiting period cannot be bypassed.

IF YOUR STUDENT MEETS THE FOLLOWING REQUIRMENTS, CLICK BELOW TO SCHEDULE THEIR APPOINTMENT FOR THE ROAD TEST!

1. TEEN IS AT LEAST 16
2. TEEN HAS HELD THEIR PERMIT FOR AT LEAST 9 MONTHS
3. TEEN HAS PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE (DL-123 FORM)
