When will your Caldwell County student take the 6 hour behind the wheel portion? Typically, 60-90 days after their final date of classroom portion of driver's education. This varies depending on class size and ages of the students. Please make sure you provide the correct phone number. Driving schedules are set by the individual driving instructor. Please be patient once completing the written portion of the course, as only three students can be driven per session.

If Caldwell County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, driver's education classes and driving lessons will also be canceled on that date. Thank you.

Once you submit this form, your student is ENROLLED. You will not receive any additional alerts, please write the dates down that you sign up for, and show up on those dates. SCHS and Hibriten classes are from 3-6pm M-F. WCHS classes are from 3-7pm Fridays and 8-2:30 Saturdays. Early College classes are 2:30-5:30 M-F.
Our online course is available year-round, open to any student who is already 14.5 years old. This is the same 30 hour course material presented in our in person classrooms, however this will allow your student to complete the course at their own pace and satisfies the NC requirement of drivers education. This course includes the 6 hours behind the wheel, your student will drive one on one with our instructor once the course is completed.
The SCHS easter break class is open to all Caldwell county students, it runs M-F from 8-2:30pm
