When will your Caldwell County student take the 6 hours behind the wheel portion? Typically, 60-90 days after their final day of the classroom portion of driver's education.
This varies depending on class size and ages of the students. Please make sure you provide the correct phone number.
Driving schedules are set by the individual driving instructor. Please be patient once completing the written portion of the course, as a maximum of three students can be driven per session.

If Caldwell County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, driver's education classes and driving lessons will also be canceled on that date. Thank you.

Once you submit a registration form, your student is ENROLLED. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS TRANSPORTATION HOME EACH DAY AFTER DRIVERS ED CLASS HAS ENDED.
SCHS, Hibriten, WCHS after school classes are from 3-6pm Monday-Friday.
Saturday classes are held 8am-2:30pm for 5 consecutive Saturdays.
Early College classes are held 2:30-5:30 Monday-Friday.
ALL SUMMER SESSIONS ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY FROM 8AM-2:30PM.
ANY STUDENT ENROLLED IN A CALDWELL COUNTY PUBLIC, PRIVATE, OR HOMESCHOOL, CAN ATTEND ANY CLASS AT ANY SCHOOL OF THEIR CHOICE!
THE $65 FEE MUST BE PAID TO CALDWELL COUNTY SCHOOLS PRIOR TO REGISTERING.
Any student enrolled in drivers' education on or after December 1, 2025 MUST complete the mandatory work zone safety course by clicking the link above! Bring your certificate of completion on the first day of class to show to your instructor.

PLEASE write down the date that you register for! Students may register for the first available class at their school, once that class begins, the next upcoming class will be open for online registration. The full class schedule is below!
Each class must have a minimum of 25 students to proceed. If there are less than 25 students on day 1 of class, students can remain until 6pm with their instructor or a parent may provide pick up. The remaining class dates will be canceled, and all students will be automatically enrolled in the next class at that school.
